Админу про проблему писал, когда столкнулся с ней в разделе “видео”, но он очень занят, поэтому всё решится чуть позже. Тем более проблемка не критическая.
Ясно, ну я так и делаю, спасибо.
I really think that UpCDownC is one of the best postrock bands around. all of their albums have songs on them that will both inspire the new realness as well as resurrect some old influences that you might recognize. I even detect a hint of some old Nintendo game music in their stuff at times, which i think is just fantastic, being a big fan of the Minibosses. I often compare those two bands saying that UpCDownC is like the Minibosses if they wrote their own stuff but kept the same sound. Maybe I’m led to think this way because of their band name, which is cool but sometimes daunting.
One thing I have to say about this particular album though: Where can i find the idiot bastard that told these guys they should start singing on this record? I’m a very staunch hater of postrock with wispy, wimpy little lyrics half-assedly floating over music that should otherwise be naked and strong. Screw singing. If you want to sing, go for a Grammy or something. This band was SO MUCH stronger when they just left it out. Of course people will disagree with me, because not everyone hates vocals in postrock, but I would like to think that at least a solid chunk of postrock fanatics like me came to this genre of music partially as a result of being fed up with crappy lyrics and crappy singers. Out of respect for the voice a guitar can have all by itself, I steer way clear of anything that calls itself postrock but then whips out a microphone.
